Setting up Controlled Folder Access

If there are folders on your system to which you want to limit the Access, you can achieve that in Windows 10.

1. Search for Controlled Folder Access
2. Enable Controlled Folder Access
3. Add the Folder you want to Protect

Now whenever a program tried to write to the folder, a prompt will be displayed notifying an attempt had been made and to either allow the request or keep it blocked.
